The Herald Tribune reports that Harry F. Sinclair, after a three month contempt sentence, has lost control of Sinclair Consolidated Oil Corporation. A group including Blair and Company, Arthur W. Cutten, and the Fisher Brothers is now the dominant interest. Sinclair’s associates decline comment on the report that he owns little Sinclair Consolidated stock and may be replaced as chairman.
Two historic vessels once tied to Nelson are slated for relocation to Southampton. The old three decker Implacable and the frigate Foudroyant, a French ship that fought Nelson’s Victory at Trafalgar, currently serve as training ships for boys in Falmouth.
