Report on Cotton Consumption

The census bureau reports March cotton consumption at 803,937 bales of lint and 95,401 bales of linters. February figures show 764,994 lint and 91,296 linters. March last year had 857,431 lint and 132,412 linters. For eight months ending March 31, lint usage was 5,598,150 bales and linters 700,080, versus 7,509,391 and 1,000,933 a year ago.
