Mise Lynn Ramsey of Thomasville is named editor of Town and Country at Wesleyan College and former Rose Queen. Miss Sarah Distelthurst of Thomasville attends a U S Chamber of Commerce college symposium in Atlanta as a Mercer junior. Fifteen area students are on Valdosta State College dean's list with Thomas County representation by several students. Emmalynn Stegall of Thomasville, a junior at Tift College, is elected president of her Senior Class for 1964 65 term.

Jones, 22 years in math, directs the glee club and teaches at Hand Memorial Methodist Church. McCrimmon, Commercial Dept. teacher, receives the scholarship for Georgia teaching candidates.

District STAR Seeking State Recognition
Linda Ann Grimmett, an 18 year old Moultrie High School senior, represents the Second District as Georgia STAR student for 1964 after besting 16 competitors. Her STAR teacher is Miss Gladys Espy and she will tour Georgia later this month. Ronald Lamar Thomas of Albany High was district runner up with STAR Teacher Billy Bragg. Candace Allen of Thomasville High and Judy Johnson of Central High also competed, with teachers Mamie Milner and Nina Freeman respectively.
