Tift County Cooking School Set For April 30
Tifton program by the Tift County Home Demonstration Council will run 8 p.m. at Abraham Baldwin College Auditorium. The event features poultry products demonstrated by home economists with door prizes from cooked items. Tickets cost 50 cents from club members to fund a 4H scholarship in home economics.

The April Pavo Woman's Club meeting drew a large audience as Mrs Mary Jo Napier of Moultrie demonstrated flower arrangements using containers and flowers provided by members She offered color harmony tips and placement ideas After the session a brief business meeting announced plans for a barbecue supper and a beauty pageant May meeting will be a banquet with new officers.
