Tragic Wreck Near Whigham Claims Decatur County Youth
Eijah McLean, 20, of Decatur County died at a local hospital from a fractured skull after a two mile east of Whigham automobile crash on Sunday night. Miss Sarah Davis suffered the next most serious injuries while Mae Davis Elroy Davis and Mrs Chisholm Williams all of Decatur County escaped with bruises. The party had been returning from Thomabville when lights failed and a burned tree hidden in shadow caused the collision. McLean died yesterday as funeral plans for Bethany church were announced amid community sympathy.
