Superior Court Judge George Lilly of Quitman will again head the 12 county Education Funds Crusade for the American Cancer Society in South Georgia with C H Poindexter naming Lilly as Regional Chairman. Frank McCall of Moultrie will run the education training program for about 6,460 volunteers across Ben Hill Berrien Brooks Coffee and other counties.
The Thomas and Grady County singing convention will be held at the Providence Missionary Baptist Church in Magnolia Street Thomasville Georgia on Friday night and Sunday February 16 to 18 1968. The Friday session begins at 8 00 p m. Everyone is invited to attend and enjoy gospel singing.
