Bank of Ohio Act Sets Branch Structure and Rules
Ohio General Assembly enacts a comprehensive Bank of Ohio law. It authorizes the creation of branches, outlines director selection, oaths, and duties, sets capitalization minimums, branch liability limits, note issuance and safety fund requirements, and empowers supervision, insolvency procedures, and intercity offices in New York, Cincinnati, and Cleveland. The act governs deposits, dividends, stock transfer limits, and reporting with annual and monthly statements.
