Nash Sedan Destroyed in Bold Auto Theft
Early Tuesday a Nash sedan was stolen from Nevada and Shirley streets, taken to the hilltop water tower site, smashed, and burned beyond salvage after intruders shattered a window and removed the gas tank cover. Police observed the fire, and an insurance adjuster later reviewed the case. The chassis was sold to a junk dealer and the engine went to a Shore Drive buyer.
