Parish Reunion at St John the Evangelist Church
Final plans for a parish reunion reception and dance at St John the Evangelist Church are set for Monday evening May 29. A meeting of the organizing committee will occur Sunday May 28 at 7 45 at St Johns Hall. The program includes a reception for Rev James Crowley from 8 30 to 9, a concert by Ruby Newman's Ritz Carlton orchestra from 9 to 9 40, then dancing until 1 a.m. Refreshments will be served.

Services Held for Albert B. Dunham
Funeral services for Albert B. Dunham former member of the Board of Registrars who died Tuesday after a brief illness were held at his home 95 Fremont street. Interment followed at Winthrop Cemetery. He was born in Boston 72 years ago and moved to town as a child. He served on the Board of Registrars for 36 years retiring due to ill health. He worked with the Talbot Clothing Company and later Raymonds and was active in Freemasonry and the First Unitarian Church. He is survived by his widow Mrs Abbie Gove Dunham a twin brother Arthur C. Dunham and a nephew Prof Howard F Dunham of Dartmouth College.

Local Young Men Report to Camp Devens
Nine Winthrop youths in military dress marched to Camp Devens to join forestry recruits. Memorial Day Veterans Parade and Services Planned
