Town Meeting Friday May 22 Approves Water Pipe Bond
A town meeting scheduled for Friday May 22 considers spending 12,500 to buy six inch water pipe and lay it along Beale Street Cottage Avenue Bowdoin Street Locust Street and other streets and to issue five year bonds. The meeting also asks if sufficient funds can be raised to purchase a Ford dump truck for the highway department.

Patrolman Wells Returns 94 Year Old Woman to Home
Last Tuesday evening a call reported a very old non English speaking woman at a Point Shirley house. Patrolman Bill Wells spoke German learned in Coblenz and soon had the woman, Mrs. Goldberg of 191 Woodside Ave, back home. Family thanks him for ending their worry.

Stolen Car Recovered on Forrest Street in Boston
Lieut. Douglas recovered a car last Sunday that was reported stolen on November 14 in Boston. The vehicle, found at 45 Forrest Street, is owned by Mr. J. Grishaver who bought it from a man named Miller in Revere. The original theft occurred to Mr. Leonard Conley of Hudson, Massachusetts, who was in town that day.
