Miss Helen Halladay Hayden and Mr Harry van Hoosear Knight were married at St John s Episcopal Church on Wednesday afternoon June 23. Rev Ralph M Harper officiated. The couple left for a Maine honeymoon and will reside at 28 James Av after returning. Knight has served in St John s choir for 12 years.

Winthrop High 1920 Class Graduates

The class of 1990 graduated 122 students, the largest in school history, with 61 boys and 61 girls. Credit goes to the School Committee, Principal Clarke, and Supt. Frank A. Douglas. The auditorium overflowed with relatives as a strong program unfolded, including March Class Marshal Richard Curran and the song program by the Class of 1920 and the High School Orchestra.
