Key organizers include C A Bissell Nils V Nelson Harold Evans Malcolm Crowley Gerald Harrison Captain Drace White F H Poteet Captain L R Knight Horace Eyes and Charles Blaze. Guest of honor Capt Yancy Williams Charlestown Navy Yard former Delaware commander who served in the North Sea. The event promotes coastal air and military showmanship with an afternoon program starting at 4 30 PM. Secretary of the Navy Curtis D Wilbur reported a wireless message to President Bissell last week.
A sham battle titled the attack on Fort Heath from the air will feature Capt. L. R. Knight commanding Army airplanes at the Boston Airport and Col. G. A. Weiczorek leading the Boston Harbor coast defenses, marking the event's highlight.
