Dolan Family Suffer From Tank Explosion Tragedy
The Dolan family of 19 Beach Rd. endured a sequence of misfortune after a molasses tank exploded. Gerald A. Dolan died during a return from France, Ralph Martin died from burns and injuries, and Walter J. Dolan’s truck and driver were lost in the blast. Mrs. Dolan’s father Michael Sinnott, a Civil War veteran, resided at 70 Bernard St. Dorchester.
