Winthrop To Hull Bridge Sought in 25 Million Bill
A bill filed with the House clerk by Rep. Charles W. Hedges of Quincy proposes a 25 million bridge from Winthrop to Hull over Boston Harbor. Libby of Brookline sponsors the measure proposing the Massachusetts Bay Bridge and Transportation Company would finance via bonds and later transfer remaining income to the state. The state could also assume the company to cover debts. A similar measure was previously submitted.
