Arraigned for Drunken Driving after Auto Crash

Tony Belmonte of 23 Roosevelt Street Revere was arraigned in East Boston Court on a drunk driving charge after a Sunday crash on Revere Street near Highlands Bridge. Albert Stein of East Boston and Bonito of East Boston suffered injuries as their cars collided. Belmonte's case was continued for one week at the government's request.

Plan Widening at Sagamore Avenue

Winthrop Considers New Post Office at Town Hall Site

A letter from Charles L. Underhill reports plans for a new Winthrop post office on the old Town Hall lot at Paul ine and Hermon streets. If bids are approved, a single story 15 by 40 foot building would be built set back 25 feet with a wide cement driveway, pending Post Office Department approval.
