ARP School Set to Open Next Tuesday Evening
The Winthrop Civilian Defense Committee calls for at least 1500 volunteers to join ARP efforts for air raid, sabotage, and other emergencies. Nativity Feast Observed With Dual Midnight Masses
Two midnight Masses will be held in the Upper and Lower Churches for the Nativity. The High Mass preacher will be Reverend Daniel Linehan S J of Weston College. Town officials authorize free sand from the town yard behind the Methodist Church for residents to collect.
