Under overcast skies at Winthrop Yacht Club the Worcester Women’s Swimming Association’s Anna Tully won the New England junior 300 yards medley championship. Helen Delaney and Rena MacDonald finished second and third for Boston Swimming Association.

Women Attend Republican Rally at Winthrop Club Home

About 100 women gathered Friday afternoon August 15 at Mrs. G. Wallace Tibbetts home 160 Grover Avenue for a Winthrop Woman's Republican Club rally. Principal speakers were Mrs. Wm. M. Butler and Mrs. Eben S. nominee for U S Senate. Mrs. Hail and Mrs. Higgins also spoke. Over 50 new members joined the local club.
