Funeral Rites Held for Judge P J Lane East Boston District Court associate
Funeral services for Associate Judge Patrick J. Lane of the East Boston District Court were held last Saturday at St John the Evangelist Church. Died April 17 at Massachusetts General Hospital after a year of poor health. He lived at 5 Washington Ave with daughter Edna A. Lane and leaves two sons Edward L. Lane and Everett H. Lane. Interment in Winthrop Cemetery.

Winthrop Hospital League Holds April Meeting
With Mrs. Richard Griffin presiding the Winthrop Community Hospital League met April 18 at 1 30 p m at the hospital. The group voted to buy five stainless steel bowl sets and produced 2450 dressings and five surgical jackets. Tea was served by hostesses and the meeting adjourned until May 16. A hospital league bridge at Ellis Hall Thursday aims to raise funds for equipment.
