The death of Robert Cook, seventeen, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Cook, occurred last evening after he began playing basketball at the Normal school. He suffered heart trouble for years but continued to play. he died before aid could reach him. He was advertising manager of The Budget, well liked for his sunny disposition and usefulness. Funeral arrangements were not set at press time. Paul E. Chamberlain, son of the station agent, returned home from naval service to join his family in Portland after two years overseas.
