W H Chappelle and wife en route from Pierce City to Muskogee stopped. Naomi Duncan and Mrs J B Bedell came from Chetopa to visit Mrs B N Williamson and attend chars. W B Hassell arrived from his west Texas ranch to spend days before Kaneis City. Presbyterian church prayer meeting postponed to Thursday night. Charley Golenteher and family from Bucha are in town for the circus. The circus disrupted a Bluejacket couple’s plans. James McCullough, county clerk, delayed returning to office due to the parade, delaying the young couple. A marriage license was issued to Perry Warner and Miss Florence Pate from near Bluejacket.
