Topeka Kansas Sept. The case moved to the United States Court yesterday involving four Indian bases and forty one state banks challenging a bank guaranty quality law. The bank commissioner J N Dolley asked the court to halt enforcement claiming the law conflicts with the Fourteenth Amendment, arguing it deprives banks of rightful authority to issue assurances. The final decision was signed by Chey for L Long John L Hunt and J W Flood with WP Wemoper and John Web.
Taft Day plans at the Alaska-Yakob-Pacific exposition receive official approval. President Taft will arrive September 20 and be greeted by officials at King Street station, proceeding to the Washington hotel. He will tour sites, address Washington and Northwest residents in the amphitheatre, visit Pay Streak, dine in the state building, and depart October 1 after city viewing and recreation. Fireworks and special musical programs are planned.

Guthrie Okla Rept 16 Jay, in the foothills of Delay ware county, won the election to relocate the county seat over Grove. Justice Dunn ruled the relocation petition need not name towns to be voted upon and that notices posted countywide were sufficient since voters knew and participated. Court found Jay well known countywide despite arguments of no such place and noted prior public plats. The record included alleged testimonies about inducements to court officers, but the court left questions to refer to higher findings if desired.
The Cherokee National Bank secured a judgment for 268 dollars in the county court against M. M. T. Stuart after a post noon trial. The Staver Carriage Company v Kilgore and Jones of White Oak ended with a verdict for the defendants.
