Confederate veterans gathered in Ardmore Oklahoma for the fourth annual reunion since statehood. Mayors and leaders gave welcomes while General Hatley presided and noted shrinking ranks. Former Governor Haskell and Claude Weaver spoke. Senator Gore was slated to speak today. Daughters’ session closed. Mrs W R Clement reelected president. A reception at the state Confederate home occurred yesterday as the Sons of Veterans planned a reunion today.

Funds include 1.75 million dollars in bonds and over 1 million dollars in appropriations. Woman Killed by Accidental Revolver Discharge
Mrs. Columbus Perry died at her Big Cabin home after an accidental gun discharge. Opening a trunk the revolver fired, the bullet hit her knee, passed the abdomen and severed the main artery of the heart. She died instantly. funeral held Sunday near Big Cabin. She had been preparing to travel to Vinita.
