Beginning Monday morning the registration books in all first class jetties will be open for one week to allow those who missed July registration to vote in the November 8 election. Agent Ware Disappears From Chouteau Station
Muskogee Okla Oct 19 A station agent named Ware at Chouteau has disappeared. Four thousand dollars belonging to the Missouri Kansas Texas railroad and the American Express company is missing. Auditors opened the safe today to find it stripped. Ware vanished Saturday night and is believed to have gone to Mexico. He had been at Chouteau only a few days.

Collision of Red Limited Feared In Illinois Train Crash
Fifteen people were injured when the northbound Chicago and Alton Red Limited collided head on with a southbound freight near Nilwood Illinois, nine miles north of Carlinville. Conductor F B Fox and Engineer A L Barker were aboard the two trains. The open switch caused the crash as the passenger train crossed into the southbound track at about fifty miles per hour. The mail car telescoped against the tender. mail clerks were seriously hurt but survived. Owner townspeople and agents aided response as investigators blamed mis-set switches for the incident.
