District Court Term Shortened By Judge's Absence

The October term of district court was cut short after a telegram from a Kansas City hospital stated Mrs. Brown was very low after an operation. Judge Brown will be absent for a few days and the court adjourned until next Monday. The grand jury was adjourned to meet again then, having just been empaneled yesterday. Afternoon motions and demurrers were disposed of, with jury trials set to resume next Monday.
