Guthrie Plans to Fight Capital Removal in Courts
Guthrie Oklahoma officials and attorneys agreed to oppose moving the state capital to Oklahoma City. They favor waiting for the state supreme court to rule on constitutional amendment requirements before any action. The case involves injunctions and legality of a special session move, with potential delays past 1913. Separate note: Senator Lorimer was exonerated by a senate subcommittee on bribery allegations regarding his seat.
