Vermont News: Federal Clerk Moves to Burlington Building
Announcement says Henry Conlin clerk of the U S court for the district of Vermont will move from Rutland after 12 years to the second floor of the new federal building in Burlington. The monument to poet John G Saxe near his Highgate homestead nears completion under a legislatively appointed commission. Burlington resident Mary Johnson Bee attempted a sensational getaway during a breach of peace arrest, leaping from a back window and fleeing through the wood yard before a brief chase ended in capture.
