Bank Note Exchange and Gout Drops Adverts Across States

A historical notice lists bank names and locations across New Hampshire Vermont Massachusetts Rhode Island Connecticut Pennsylvania and New York, followed by an advertisement for Dr Robertson's Gout and Rheumatic Drops claiming quick cures with internal and external use and propriety branding by Y Wm. Dyol, M B March 18 1824.

Plaster Cloth Promoted as Universal Remedy

An advertisement touts Plaster Cloth as a safe universal cure for inveterate ulcers sores wounds boils abscesses fistula ascites and numerous other ailments including cancers sore breasts weak joints rheumatism gout and back pains. It claims endorsements from eminent physicians and notes uses from scalds to burns and even cosmetic dressings for feet and skin issues.

Itch remedy touted in Philadelphia pharmacy notice

An 19th century advertises Dr BDVYOU S Parent Ve h Cinmuent as a cure for itch and scabies. It claims rapid, certain relief without odor, safe for infants. Sold wholesale and retail at Nos 157 and 139 North Second and Race streets, Philadelphia, by Jor’s Drug and Family Medicine Warehouse and Druggists nationwide.

The Full Bred Horse Fier to Stand at Several Stables

The Full Bred Horse to commence April 5 in Rush township at Alice C Barrett’s stable, then at Thomas Fiester’s in Cattawissa, then Caleb Fisher’s in Shamokin valley, ending July 7. Rates two dollars per leap, three fifty per season, four fifty to ensure a foal. The horse is a bright bay, 18 hands, with notable lineage and high value. Public notices include confirming no fee from Abner Johnston regarding a constable appointment and defending against false rumors.
