National banks and note exchange lists appear by state including New Hampshire Massachusetts Rhode Island Connecticut New York Pennsylvania Delaware and Maryland. Banks named include Boston Springfield Providence Hartford Albany Troy Schenectady New Haven New York City Philadelphia Reading and Gettysburg among others with branch mentions and city locations.
An advertisement claims Rheumatic pains lumbago sprains and joint swellings are rapidly cured by Dr Robertson's Gout and Rheumatic Drops. It describes external use two to three times daily and internal dosing of ten to fifteen drops on sugar, with a claimed permanent cure in a short time. Sold wholesale and retail from Philadelphia and major druggists nationwide. March 18 1824.
An advertisement touts the ointment as a sure, safe cure for itch and skin eruptions. It claims rapid, permanent relief with no odor, suitable for infants, sold at a Philadelphia address and through agents nationwide. Each box bears the proprietor PW York M B signature.
Dr Robertson s Stopatic praised as cure for coughs colds and lung complaints. Advertises Dr Z W Dyett and T W Dyott signature bottles sold across the United States. May 12 1824.
