Front Royal Brew and Blues Festival Returns Downtown
The Front Royal Warren Chamber of Commerce hosts its sixth annual Brew and Blues Festival from 11 am to 7 pm Saturday in the downtown Commons. About 40 beers from state and other brewers will be available for tasting, with food vendors and Main Street shops open. admission is free for non drinkers, $15 in advance for beer tasting, $20 at the gate.

Gun found in pupil bag at Ressie Jeffries Elementary
A 10 year old student’s book bag contained a firearm Friday at Ressie Jeffries Elementary. A relative, Cody Wayne Barnes 28 of Myrtle Beach, has been charged after mistaking the bag for his own. Deputy Karen Negron investigated the incident as gun was placed in the bag the night before.
