County's first compressed natural gas station coming
Warren County will host its first CNG service station after the Board of Supervisors approved a conditional use permit. Interchange Group Inc. will build a 24 hour unmanned station along route 522 340 in the North River District, with UA GP Construction handling build out in about 90 days. The site aims to serve Interchange fleet and attract heavy truck operators seeking lower fuel costs. The project follows Virginia DEQ data showing 21 CNG stations statewide and positions Warren County among early adopters in the Shenandoah Valley.
