A close call over Dunkirk veteran recalls missions
World War II veteran Bernard Nolan, 93, spoke at the Shenandoah Veterans Day event in Front Royal. The Alexandria resident flew 33 missions as an Air Force pilot before turning 22, serving 22 years. He recalled a B24 crash on his third mission over Germany and Pearl Harbor influenced his entry.

One Injured in Reliance House Fire
