Virginia port expansion eyed to double capacity soon
The Inland Port of Virginia could nearly double capacity in a three year expansion plan affecting the Port of Virginia system including Hampton Roads harbor, Richmond Marine Terminal, and Inland Port in Warren County. CEO John Reinhart outlined the plan at the State of the Port address, aiming to reach about 1.2 million containers annually and begin by fall 2017.

Front Royal Women's Resource Center announced seven Dare to Dream grants at the annual breakfast at Shenandoah Valley Golf Club. The awards support education, publishing, equipment, and service, with 2016 Elaine Bromfield Memorial Scholarship winner named.
