Front Royal Town Council member Bret Hrbek described a county commissioned Springsted report on the town county corridor agreement as not surprising to those present. The council discussed the findings at Monday's meeting.
The agenda lists a series of public meetings across Warren County and Front Royal from March 27 to April 16. Meetings include the RSW Regional Jail Authority Board, Anti-Litter Council, quarterly business forum, Town Council work session, Board of Supervisors, and Urban Forestry Advisory Commission with locations at the Government Center Town Hall and related addresses. Contestants competed in Front Royal Warren County Relay For Life ninth annual event on Saturday March 22 at Warren County High School. Proceeds supported cancer research and community activities, with participants showcasing talent and humor in a light hearted fundraiser.
The Warren Coalition hosts the third annual Celebrate Kids Day on Saturday April 26 at Warren County Middle School on Luray Avenue Front Royal. The event features games activities and food with an 11 30 a m hero medal ceremony and outdoor activities from noon to 4 p m. Admission is free bracelets for games and rides cost 5 and 10 dollars. Indoor activities run 11 30 a m to 4 p m featuring local organizations providing free activities and more information is available on Facebook Warren Coalition.
