Front Royal firefighter takes plea deal for crash
Conor Wright, 25, a Front Royal volunteer firefighter, pleaded not guilty to improper driving after a November Strasburg Road crash that damaged a westbound pickup. The charge was reduced from reckless driving. Wright received a $500 fine with $100 suspended and must avoid new charges for a year. Judge Dale Houff accepted the deal.

Raymond Jackson Sr. and Raymond Jackson Jr. of Virginia Avenue were charged March 4 with violating probation out of Shenandoah County. Jackson Sr. also faces Warren County counts for illegal alcohol manufacture and firearm possession. Jackson Jr. for drug paraphernalia and ammunition possession.
