Woodstock in good shape after July flood cleanup
Woodstock has dried out after flash floods closed streets and flooded basements in early July. Shenandoah County declared a local emergency as four inches of rain fell in an hour. 32 roads were closed and two bridges were damaged but repaired. Cost of cleanup and response neared 24000 dollars, with funds sought from the state emergency agency.
