Blue Ridge Hospice marks 40 years serving Winchester area
The Winchester based Blue Ridge Hospice celebrates its 40th anniversary at 333 W Cork St. Founder Helen Zebarth recalls origins in South Dakota and Europe. The nonprofit now serves about 2000 patients annually with eight in patient beds, eight thrift stores, and broad support including bereavement counseling and music therapy.
