Unity in Community Food and Fund drive marks 40th year
The Blue Ridge Area Food Bank launches its Unity in Community Food and Fund drive August 7 to 14 to raise funds and collect dried and canned goods for northern Virginia communities. The effort spans 25 counties and eight cities with distribution from Winchester Charlottesville Lynchburg and Verona headquarters. The drive follows pandemic impacts and aims for 400 000 meals while highlighting community support and ongoing need.

Warren County approves storage corridor permits in Winchester Road area
Warren County Supervisors granted three conditional-use permits to 9700 Court LLC for an enclosed vehicle storage facility on Winchester Road, with a two phase plan totaling 63 000 square feet first and 32 000 square feet second and a 48 050 square foot rentable space.
