Warren County to sell building to Blue Ridge firm
Warren County Board of Supervisors voted to sell county owned property at 30 E Jackson St Front Royal to Blue Ridge Information Systems for 240000 dollars. The sale followed a public hearing and a second offer was discussed in closed session. The county bought the property in 2002 for 229000 dollars and its assessed value is 172100 dollars.

A 64 year old Strasburg man, Sean Christopher McCormick of 1115 Copp Road, was shot by a Shenandoah County sheriff deputy late Monday night after returning from a neighbor disturbance and presenting a firearm. He died at Winchester Medical Center. The deputy is on paid administrative leave as Virginia State Police investigate.
