Warren County traffic stop death probe remains tight lipped
Authorities continue investigating the April death of 77 year old Ennis after a Warren County sheriff deputy tackled him during a traffic stop on Winchester Road. Autopsy results are pending beyond the usual eight to twelve week window. Ennis, who had dementia and had been reported in a Silver Alert, died April 15 under Blue Ridge Hospice care.

Suspect Arrested After Shenandoah Fatal Shooting
One man died and another was airlifted after a July 21 shooting at 225 Buzzard View Place Shenandoah. Suspect Scott Simandl, 47, was apprehended on scene and charged with murder, aggravated malicious wounding, and firearm offenses. Investigations ongoing.
