Killer of Christendom graduate gets 40 years
Mathew Thomas Wiessing, 27, pleaded no contest to murdering Michael Echaniz, 23, in San Antonio in March 2022. District Judge Jen nifer Pena sentenced Wiessing to 40 years in prison, with at least 50 percent before parole.
