Trades rise as college enrollment falls attracts students

Warren Coalition permit request discussed at Front Royal session

Front Royal leaders discussed rezoning and permit requests including a Warren County Community Health Coalition lodging house at 501 S Royal Ave. A public hearing is set for Jan 22. The group previously received a permit for a similar eight room lodging house named The Landing at 200 N Royal Ave. If approved, the nonprofit plans to relocate men in addiction treatment programs.

Long-running court cases loom in Warren and Shenandoah counties

Federal case against Jennifer McDonald, former executive director of the Front Royal Warren County Economic Development Authority, centers on alleged embezzlement of more than $5 million from 2014 to 2018.
