South Fork Bridge project details and detour routes
Stanley outlined a four year South Fork Bridge project with possible delays and weekly updates from WDOT. Drivers can use Route 55 to Linden, Airport Road, or Morgan Ford Bridge as alternatives, though Morgan Ford has been closed by floods and Morgan Ford is slated for replacement in 2016. The plan calls for a four lane to six lane transition once the new bridge is completed, with traffic shifted onto the new structure after construction.
