Front Royal sees official bridge design over Shenandoah
Warren County residents viewed the Virginia Department of Transportation design for the Morgan Ford low water bridge replacement. The planned 460 foot two lane structure costs 9.7 million dollars, replacing the 321 foot 1925 bridge. The project, after a historical resources agreement, reduces height from eight to six feet and removes fishing walking and bike access.
