Warren County Budget Talks Open in Work Sessions
Warren County supervisors started the fiscal 2016 budget process with outside agency funding requests at the government center. Agencies include Samuels Library Warren Coalition Northern Virginia 4-H and Browntown Community Center with sessions set for February 10 and school board meetings on February 17. County Administrator Doug Stanley notes the final budget is not yet ready and revenue estimates remain to be formed. Last year’s approved budget totaled 95.5 million.

Rinaldi seeks Republican nod for Warren County supervisor

Heroin indictments issued in Warren County front royal
Warren County Grand Jury indicted three women and two men from Front Royal on felony possession with intent to distribute heroin in 2014. The women Christina Crawford Nicole Cottle and Erika Prematta and men Phillip Vaughn Steven Myers face court dates in February March and April. A total of 13 other indictments were handed down including Christopher Cameron on drug possession and Eric Bradley on fraud for taking advance pay without performing work.
