New Warren MRI unit to offer more patient friendly experience

Valley Health installs a permanent MRI at Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal at 351 Valley Health Way. A mobile unit remains on site until the fixed unit is ready in early January. The conventional MRI offers a wider opening, quieter operation, faster scans, and improved patient comfort with full-body imaging capabilities. Training begins Jan 3 with patient introductions Jan 4.

Northern Shenandoah Valley Resiliency Initiative Formed

Four local nonprofits join to help at risk and imperiled youth with trauma informed programs aiming to reduce drug use crime truancy and unplanned pregnancies. Tina Stevens Culbreath notes the need for preventive efforts and reallocating funds from incarceration to prevention.
