Local grower provides tree for governor's mansion in Virginia
A 8 foot Frederick County conifer from Clouse's Pine Hill Farm won the Virginia Christmas Tree Growers Association contest and will grace the governor's private quarters at the Executive Mansion in Richmond. The family farm has grown from 1977 and now offers about 15 000 trees with the Clouse family continuing as operators. Governor Glenn Youngkin, his wife, and state forestry officials plan to attend a Sunday ceremony to accept the prize tree and celebrate Virginia's tree farming industry.
