JMU training video draws national fire and review
James Madison University faced national attention after a training video for student staff showed a three row comparison placing able bodied white Christian men as privileged against oppressed groups. The video was removed from YouTube and is under review through fall. State officials and alumni criticized the content while some supporters defended it. The university pledged inclusive climate work and will consult diverse groups before future trainings.
