Back to School Chamber Holds Reception for 47 New Teachers
Forty seven new teachers were welcomed into Warren County Public School System at Skyline High School on August 14 as part of Trek for Excellence. Chamber of Commerce hosted the orientation and five day induction covering policies classroom management and instructional strategies. School Board member Jim Wells cited retirements and the loss of Warren County High School football coach Tony Tallent as factors in the influx, noting veteran educators often move to Loudoun County for better pay. He stressed the district has enough experience to support the newcomers and that the group was introduced later at a formal welcome.
