Challenge to Laurel Ridge College name change dismissed
The Shenandoah County Circuit Court dismissed the lawsuit opposing Virginia community college name changes, ruling the act did not constitute a regulation and the appellants lacked legal standing. The case, filed by Brad Pollack on behalf of four Shenandoah County residents, challenged Laurel Ridge and other name changes made by the Virginia Community College System.
