Front Royal's Fleet Maintenance Division receives an honorable mention from American City & County Magazine as one of the 100 Best Fleets in America for 2015, selected from about 38,000 fleets across North America.
Mayor Tim Carr stated at the April 27 council meeting that the water system serves the citizens of the Town of Front Royal in response to prior comments about supplying more water to the U.S. 522 corridor.
On May 4 and 5, UFAC and Town Council work sessions convene at Town Administration Building 102 E Main St. May 5 includes Warren County Supervisors meeting and Parks Commission at 538 Villa Ave and Government Center. The Front Royal Independent Business Alliance hosts its second Taste of the Town on May 15 from 7 to 10 p.m. on Main Street. The street closes to enable vendor booths, live entertainment at the Gazebo, and family activities. Tickets cost 10 dollars for seven food tickets, with extra at the event. proceeds go to the Warren County Summer Backpack program via C-CAP, building on last year’s two thousand dollar donation.
